The easiest way to do it is to remove the image itself from your images folder. But we will in this exercise remove it from the code in Joomla.

1. Go to [your site]/components/com_user/views/login and open(edit) view.html.php

2. Comment out (or remove - your choice) the following lines shown here.

Line 37: Starts with $image =

	Line 64: Starts with $params->def('image_login'....

	Line 65: Starts with $params->def('image_logout'....

3. Save and exit

There you go you should now have successfully remove the picture from your Joomla website.
